    On a long weekend in Cambourne we visited the Monkfield Arms for a bar meal. We loved the ambience and were very well looked after by Joel. The meals were tasty and very reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again next time we are in the area.

    The food and service were excellent as were the surroundings when we visited The Olde House, Loundsley Green Chesterfield. We were served by Tracy and Jade who were attentive and courteous. An enjoyable meal. We will certainly go back Code 916692

    Visited cambourne, Cambridgeshire pub. Ordered wild west burger and Bollywood burger plus glass white wine and large Pepsi. Barman said didn't know anything about wine and asked me what it was called. The Pepsi was flat and we had to take it back and waited until we had finished our meal to get our replacement, which we had to go and get as it had been forgotten. Food. Very disappointing. Bollywood burger was three very small cold chicken wings and a very large plateful of chips which could have done with more cooking. I ordered an extra potion of onion rings and they put them on the wild west burger so we had to disassemble the burger to get them. Overall very poor service and food. Will not go back in a hurry and would certainly not recommend. This is very unfortunate as we have visited before and had good food and service. This time just felt like staff didn't know what they were doing.

    Unfortunately, when we visited the Poacher in Lincoln, I was told that both the starter and main course that I wanted were out of stock. Given that one item was a prawn cocktail and that the menu always has a prawn something on - I felt this was poor. Consequently when our meals came, although edible, it was eaten with a sense of a let down!

    We visited the greyhound pub Longlevens, Gloucester, there were four of us, myself, my mum, my sister and brother in law who are visiting over from Vancouver BC.
    The food was excellent and great value for money.
    The landlord Denis was extremely friendly and helpful and made our visit very pleasurable.
    I would definitely re visit and recommend this place. Outstanding service!

    Recently went into The Harpers Brook to meet a friend for a catch up pint. My two servers for the hour or so that we were there were Jade and Tammy. I have to be honest, and say that it is almost a rarity, nowadays, to be met with such courtesy as both these young ladies eminated. In short, they are a credit as ambassadors for this particular public house.
