More Information About Swiss Chalet
Swiss Chalet is a Canadian chain of casual dining restaurants founded in 1954 in Toronto. As of 2008, there are over 200 Swiss Chalet restaurants in Canada. Swiss Chalet is among the holdings of Cara Operations, which also owns the fast food chain Harvey's. Swiss Chalet and Harvey's franchises frequently share locations. Some locations are more akin to fast food restaurants.

The stores ' points of sale variously include in-store dining rooms, drive-thru windows, take-out counters, delivery, and a website for online food ordering. Cara Operations retails Signature Swiss Chalet sauce, gravy, and marinades (as powdered mixes) in Canadian supermarkets.

There were 3 disappointments, the dipping sauce was very spicy, could not use it. There was no white vinegar, only the over strong dark stuff . I had the hot beef, the beef was perfect, but overwhelmed by the soggy bread and the gravy . This might work better as an open faced sandwich . I did not want the vegetables, I declined extra fries, but got double fries anyway . I hate wasting food .

I am a regular customer of Swiss Chalet North Bay Ont. I was there for lunch today with my sister. We both got a 1/4 chicken dinner with fries. The fries were very greasy and limp...we told the waitress who agreed with us explaining they were like that because they were not allowed to drip after being fried. She said she would order us some more. A lady from the kitchen brought us out more fries explaining that they looked funny today because the potatoes were so starchy. The new fries were just as bad...very uneatable. The waitress then came back asking how the new fries were....we told her they were just as bad. She said "oh that's too bad" and left. We were not offered any other alternative, and were charged full price. I'm very disappointed!!

  6. David Wright/Joan Wright says:

Just had the WORST Swiss experience ever.... Four of us at the Swiss Chalet 2975 Eglinton Ave W Mississauga ON of Tues Dec 16th.
Three ordered the Xmas special... I had 1/4 chicken with salad. I asked for everything on the salad except cucumber. Upon arrival... a bit of red cabbage and the rest romaine lettuce only. I went up to the salad bar to see the extras... all the bowls were empty! At out Swiss, Shorney and Dundas, Etobicoke... upon request I get mushrooms, carrot and red peppers etc. surprise...
Next... the house dressing was not the regular dressing. Im Mississauga... looked like it was poured out of a cheap bottle... lots of oil swimming on top... no one at the table used it.
    French fries of others cold.
Server was rushing so fast, she spilled the hot sauce over the table, just missing husband.
Server also very loud and fast talking...her rushing around was very uncomfortable for all of us.
We had to ask for table clearing after we had finished eating..like almost an hour...
When she brought our bill (after us trying to catch her to ask for it), she stood beside my husband actually looking over his shoulder as he was entering his credit card information...
I begged him not to leave a tip, but he did, saying"I had to, she was right there"

Out chk number was 4989 tbl 61/1 Reg # R877432187

The server was loud and really not Swiss Chalet friendly. We knew the place appeared short of staff... but we will not be eating there again.
Ps We love our Swiss in Etobicoke... always great.
    Thank you.
    Joan Wright

We absolutely LOVE our local Swiss Chalet. My kids both know Loretta and run to her when we go in. The service is wonderful and friendly.

  9. JOYCE says:

I dined at the Bedford swiss chalet this evening jan 25, spareribs were cold also fries, very
disappointing, seems the only way to get hot fries is to request them.

  10. Mr. Clive Ashby says:

My family & I visited Swiss Chalet No. 1143 in Mississauga on Sat Jan 11th, we found the service slow, & not very welcoming, the meal was OK, but I will not be going there again. REG.100803717RT1001.Chk 1293

  11. Betty Cescon says:

I thought I'd try the new brownie with chocolate and carmel drizzle with ice cream and a cherry on top . They were out of cherries for one but that's okay. What was gross was the brownie seemed under cooked and when I showed our server, she said the brownies are shipped in from Calgary and are cooked already. I couldn't take it like that so I didn't eat the rest of it.

After getting a receipt with a survey invitation or a survey invitation card, you have a chance to take an online survey to give your feedback based on your shopping experience. Here are some useful tips for you to complete a survey and win big prizes.

1. Take care of your store receipt.

Many store surveys require receipt information, so you need to keep it safe after shopping or dining. The details about your purchase are presented on the receipt, such as the date and time of your visit, store number, survey code and so forth. The information is very important if you decide to take this survey. In addition, a coupon or validation code is sometimes offered as a thank-you gift for your feedback at the end of a survey. And you need to write it down on your receipt for the offer on your next visit.

2. Check the survey URL.

Prior to inputting the survey URL printed on your receipt into the required field of a browser or a search engine, please check it carefully as it sometimes may be long and complex. An incorrect survey URL will not bring you to the survey page.

3. Give honest feedback.

Companies roll out surveys to collect you customers’ feedback so that they can provide better products and services. Your candid evaluation will help them do better. Read questions carefully and answer the questions based on your own experience to give useful suggestions.

4. Read sweepstakes terms and rules.

Usually, as an encouragement for you to express opinions, you can be entered into a sweepstakes at the end of a survey. You are highly suggested to read the sweepstakes rules carefully to make sure you are doing the right thing. The rules will show you eligibility requirements, survey expiration date, guidance about how to get a prize and more. In short, many details in the Terms and Rules deserve your attention. One thing to note is that the link to the rules is not in an obvious position and you always can find it in the bottom of the survey page.

5. Provide correct contact information.

Some surveys require you to offer your personal information such as your full name, email address, phone number, etc. The contact details will be used to notify you once you have won the sweepstakes prize. Your information will be kept confidentially. If you still have concerns, please read the privacy policy before taking each survey.

6. Keep contacted with stores.

Some surveys will ask you whether you would like to be contacted to receive the latest promotional information and surveys. You are suggested to choose to keep in touch with the merchants because they will send you some useful information on promotions, coupons and new surveys. With these information, you can save more and get more chances to win big prizes.
