Visited the store in East Kilbride today and feel I must complement you on your member of staff LYNN and the young man who was also present. I was ordering blinds, a kitchen sink bundle, and needed some help with paint. They were both superb - being older I appreciated their patience and help. Lynn guided me through the choices of paint and what was suitable for my purpose. Wish all stores had this quality of staff. Thank you Lynn & also the young man .

  11. Fred West says:

I thought I was entering a normal survey but one that involved B & Q but no. I see a plethora of things that perhaps I should press the keyboard or not press the keyboard, advertisements for Google together with Google Chrome rather than a B&Q survey. To add insult to injury I am expected to involve Facebook the billion dollar advertising racket or did I misunderstand it all amongst the barrage of adds and information not to forget the now perfunctionary get this apt or get that apt etc.

If you are really interested in what customers want make it easy but for heavens sake do not use your page to advertise a load of rubbish such as Ballet Shoes and Google.

  12. Nesba Washington says:

I am trying to redecorate my house and as a result have been visiting the B & Q branch in Tottenham to purchase the required bits and pieces. My current visit was on Saturday the 17th of September 2016 with the intention to purchase a set of paint which I knew was not going to be easy because the colour coordination I intended using is really really unusual
However, in the shop, my quest was met by a shop assistant ELENI who was at the time serving at the paint mixer and advice counter.
As a shop floor supervisor in a well known departmental store myself, I was totally blown away by the patience, the professionalism and the knowledge ELENI attached to the service rendered.
I am totally unaware of such a survey site for B & Q but stumbled on the site trying to search for an item to purchase and decided to let management of B & Q know of the fantastic service received from ELENI. It appeared as if she has all round knowledge of your merchandise that even fellow staff members approached for help.
Meanwhile, ELENI has sorted out all the rather very complicated colour paints that I need. She did all the necessary paint mixing(s) to obtain the right shades, ooooooh !!!!, EXCELLENT, ELENI. Well, I hope I got her name right as I only heard her fellow member of staff calling her that name.
WHO SAID A CUSTOMER NEVER GETS ADVICE AND HELP ON THE SHOP FLOORS OF B & Q? Think again.

  13. Mr & Mrs Warren says:

We wished to purchase a gazebo, your web site stated St Helens and Wigan had the item in stock.
Looking on your website we seen a gazebo we liked for our family BBQ @ the weekend. The website told us St Helens & Wigan had it in stock. Living near St Helens we rang them, A member of staff told us no, not in stock. We asked if any would be in the warehouse, told no.
We then rang Wigan, spoke to a lady named Tracy. What a difference in telephone manner and
politeness, she also said they were not in stock. But took are telephone number and said she would check the warehouse and return our call. Tracy rang back 20 mins later and said she found
one. We called to your store a bought it, we also purchased some plants over £30 in value.
We made an effort like Tracy and found her just to say a big Thank You. The gazebo was a
great success at the weekend our family gathering went well. Thanks B&Q and Tracy.

  16. Marjorie Bridgman says:

Visited B&Q store at Pontypridd on Friday 22/07/2016, didn`t need a lot on this occasion only a quantity of drain un-blocker fluid and a small plastic tap for my water hose. To save myself time looking around for something I didn`t even know what it looked like, I asked an assistant where I could find what I needed, his reply was, yes madam follow me. He pointed out what I needed and explained how I could use it. He was courteous, pleasant & efficient treating me as if I was the only one in the store. I left with my products & will certainly, because of this 1st class treatment shop at B & Q in Pontypridd again. I am 79 years of age, do not know a lot about DIY but this left me feeling confident to shop there again. Thank you. 10/10.
    Marjorie Bridgman. Nelson.

  17. Peter Walsh says:

I ordered several items beginning of May, given a delivery date 22nd June then the day before received a phone call to say the main item is out of stock and may be available in July but could not guarantee it ? How can an item be bought and paid for, yet the day before, they find out its not in stock !!! Not good at all, expect a large organisation to have better systems in place to avoid this disruption from happening.

  33. H Symons says:

Have just returned from the Farnborough branch of B&Q, opened packaging of outside light to find a piece missing so will have to return to exchange it. This is a common occurrence as the packages are not sealed and easy to open. Most could be sealed with cellotape and if this was broken it would be obvious that it had been interfered with. Once again an unnecessary visit.

  34. luke davidson says:

every time i go to b.and.q in blackfell washington, i always find what i need and empolyers are very helpfull

  35. Lesley Wade says:

We went to B&Q at Rotherham Retail Centre and was helped by a very lovely lady called Tracey, she gave us some very good advice on the item we bought. Tracey know what she was talking about. We will seek Tracey out again at our next visit.

  36. Gloria Williams says:

Today went to B&Q Kidderminster to buy a new toilet. We have room restrictions but found an Armitage Shanks one on display that suited. We needed a right-hand filling cistern which this had. We purchased one in a box from the shelf. Arriving home we started to open it and noticed that this one had a left-hand fill. We had taken a 25 mile round trip to purchase this item. We rang the store who checked but said that the Sandringham 21 toilet that was used to demonstrate the model we had bought must have been changed. We asked if they could get a right-hand fill, they said NO. We asked if could purchase the one on display, they said NO because that one had to stay where it was. IT WAS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE THEY WERE SELLING!!!! We now have to take the wrong one back and start looking again, but it will not be with B&Q

  37. JOHN GREENHALGH says:

WONDERFUL SERVICE AT THE BURY BRANCH ONCE AGAIN THIS MORNING WOOD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE

  38. Lesley Ralph says:

We always go to cashier Jolly Jean she is always happy and always leaves us with a big smile in the Reading Store

  39. Sue Hammond says:

As a norm I have had very good customer service from your B & Q stores but unfortunately on this occasion I was very disappointed by one of your member of staff when my husband and I asked for some wood to be cut as we have done a many occasions previously, without any problems. He informed us that we had to pay for the purchase first then bring the receipt back only then would he cut the wood. This is not something we had every been asked to do before, when I said does that mean that we would have to take the wood off the shelf pay for it and bring it back, to which he said no just take a picture of the bar code on your mobile phone and they will do it on the till, baring in mind the specific wood we required was on a high shelf, we could only just make out the price let alone take a picture of the bar code by the time of realising this the staff member had gone. This left us feeling very angry so we left the Thurrock store and went to the one at Gallows Corner where they cut the wood without any problems without going to the till first to pay, which as I has said we have done many time previously. Not very helpful Thurrock - you lost a sale ...

After getting a receipt with a survey invitation or a survey invitation card, you have a chance to take an online survey to give your feedback based on your shopping experience. Here are some useful tips for you to complete a survey and win big prizes.

1. Take care of your store receipt.

Many store surveys require receipt information, so you need to keep it safe after shopping or dining. The details about your purchase are presented on the receipt, such as the date and time of your visit, store number, survey code and so forth. The information is very important if you decide to take this survey. In addition, a coupon or validation code is sometimes offered as a thank-you gift for your feedback at the end of a survey. And you need to write it down on your receipt for the offer on your next visit.

2. Check the survey URL.

Prior to inputting the survey URL printed on your receipt into the required field of a browser or a search engine, please check it carefully as it sometimes may be long and complex. An incorrect survey URL will not bring you to the survey page.

3. Give honest feedback.

Companies roll out surveys to collect you customers’ feedback so that they can provide better products and services. Your candid evaluation will help them do better. Read questions carefully and answer the questions based on your own experience to give useful suggestions.

4. Read sweepstakes terms and rules.

Usually, as an encouragement for you to express opinions, you can be entered into a sweepstakes at the end of a survey. You are highly suggested to read the sweepstakes rules carefully to make sure you are doing the right thing. The rules will show you eligibility requirements, survey expiration date, guidance about how to get a prize and more. In short, many details in the Terms and Rules deserve your attention. One thing to note is that the link to the rules is not in an obvious position and you always can find it in the bottom of the survey page.

5. Provide correct contact information.

Some surveys require you to offer your personal information such as your full name, email address, phone number, etc. The contact details will be used to notify you once you have won the sweepstakes prize. Your information will be kept confidentially. If you still have concerns, please read the privacy policy before taking each survey.

6. Keep contacted with stores.

Some surveys will ask you whether you would like to be contacted to receive the latest promotional information and surveys. You are suggested to choose to keep in touch with the merchants because they will send you some useful information on promotions, coupons and new surveys. With these information, you can save more and get more chances to win big prizes.
