    Went to buy a load of stuff at America Golf a few Sundays ago. My bill came to well over £450. Put my card in the reader and when it printed out for me to sign the slip I was told it was head office policy to not accept "signatures" on receipts. The young lady then toldme she was going to phone somebody at Head Office (?) coming back after 15 minutes or so to tell me she'd phoned 3 different people who had confirmed that, due to fraud (?) they did not accept squiggles for amounts over £50.00. Bit silly when they can check a signature with that on the back of your card!!! Still, their loss of a nearly £500.00 sale is someone else's gain and bang went her commission.

    Recently I purchased a set of Ping irons from your Metro Centre, Gateshead store. As in the past, I received excellent service but I wish to make some specific comments regarding this particular purchase.

    I was give a good, no-quibble deal on trading my "old" irons in part exchange. Your representative, Gary McClure, was especially courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Moreover, although the expected delivery time was stated as 7-10 working days, I picked up my new purchase a within 4 working days. Thank you for your excellent all-round service!

    Visited the Hazel Grove store to buy a Titleist SM6 wedge. I was encouraged to try both the Vokey SM5 and the SM6. As it happened I preferred the SM5, so am very grateful to the technician, I buy most of my golf equipment at American Golf as the service and advice is second to none.

    Visited the Newcastle under Lyme store recently. Very helpful and patient especially when one of my gift cards wouldn't scan. However - a couple of points. I was looking to buy some new irons and although the website showed ladies Cobra clubs there weren't any in the store to try or buy, nor could they get any. Eventually bought them at my local golf range - you missed out there! Also the ladies clothing section is always very poor or even non- existent. Could do better!

    very helpful, but you really have to get some left handed equipment (there was NOTHING). I belong to a golf club in derby with 800 members 86 left handed, your branch on the Meteor in derby is quite large and there wasn't one set of clubs, if lefties are not given a decent choice we are forced to go on line and that takes all the other shopping away from you, please reply.

    visited the Stone Lees store with my nephew as there is great little 3 par course for beginners, it was his first time. We needed some golf balls before we ted off. The staff were very helpful, polite and full of knowledge. My nephew had a good look around and is very much so looking forward to going back. i would recommend this store to anyone.

    Visited store in Milton Keynes Service and product knowledge from the staff was excellent and 1st class. The most impressing thing was the staff gave you time to browse around the store but were ally's at hand to give professional service and advise. I would highly recommend this store to all my friends at my local golf club.

    Visited store at middlebrook Bolton,looking at game improvement irons,very dissapointed with latest equipment to much offset / shaft lenght / ok if your 6ft 3. anyway an assistant showed me some Mizuno jpx 825 irons,great only very slight offset in long irons,correct shaft lenght & great deal even traded in old irons & got some balls in the deal.

    Found Golf Pride Jumbo Grips on the Internet @ £2.55 each. Visited my local store to purchase eight, only to be told the price is a mistake. Reluctantly, a male assistant said theses wasn't available. Lois, a female assistant took over my enquiry and informed me that they would have to be ordered and a 7-10 delivery. She also told me, that as a Member, they would be fitted free. Perhaps American Golf should employ more lady assistants, they seem more helpful.

    I recently purchased a new set of Taylor Made Speed Blades from American Golf in Delapre Northampton, the staff where brilliant not only did they give me a cracking deal but they also made sure the clubs where right for me, golf is a pleasure to play now and i even recommended my friend to but a new set of clubs there and sure enough he did and he also had a great deal and is playing much better with them
