    There were lots of flies around and they were on the meats and after one dead fly on the gammon I said, to the chef and he changed the carving board over. The queue of people were very dissatisfied with what they had seen!!

    my partner and I had a great experience at the Toby carvery Newbury on Monday 21/4/2015. We were greeted by tracey who was working behind the bar we found her very helpful and cheerfull, my partner is vegetarian of which tracey pointed the options to her and explained the menu very clearly, we ate in the because because she made us feel so comfortabe,we will certainly be telling our friends and family.of our great experience.

    Mum and I as well as the family visit your Captain Manby restaurant quite often but today the gravy was watery and not much flavour. We have stopped going to other carveries due to the same problem as you cannot know when the gravy is going to be nice or not and gravy is what makes the whole meal nice, or not? We do not wish to stop going to the Captain Manby as it is local for us to visit so hope that next time someone has sorted this problem out. We wish to go there knowing that we shall always get consistant flavour, surely you can instigate a system of adding exact amounts of water, flavour and the time period heated etc to achieve consistancy every time, Oh and test it before serving it too.

    hi my wife and myself visited the tobycarvery on Burntree in Dudley the food was great and the staff very helpful the cooks do a great job food is always great and we go at least one or two times a week and always enjoy our meal. the carvers are always very helpful. would recommend them to others.

    I have been to both Worthing carveries but of late have prefered The George, however we ate there on Monday and the Yorkshire puddings were a disgrace, flat and soggy with grease. The chef was extremely mean with the meat and had a very bad, disinterested attitude to everything and everyone and in fact was quite rude to someone who dared complain. Certainly not the standard we have come to expect from Toby restaurants.

    i have v isited your restaurant at roborough many times but this was disappointing only one member of staff on duty trying to run the bar and take people to there table.Waited 10 minutes to be taken to our table and when we got our carvery there was no spoons for the gravy (arrived at 11.50am)when more staff did arrive they were running around like head less chicken (absolute chaos)
